​There is a way of singing that is not about performance, but about presence—an invitation to remember sound as a pathway back to the body, to each other, and to what is most alive and true.

​Sangeet is a Sanskrit word often translated simply as music—and more closely: "together the best song / poem".

​Voice, Community, and Sacred Remembrance

​Sangeet is a 24-hour private sacred song ceremony held in a retreat-style container where voice, presence, and community are held with deep reverence and care.

​Together we gather to sing sacred songs, explore and play, share nourishing meals, rest deeply, attune with the land, sit by the fire, and allow the medicines of deep listening and resonant vibration to guide the unfolding of the circle.

​This ceremony is an invitation into the remembrance of ritual, tribe, and the ancient human experience of singing together.

​Through voice, listening, and shared presence, the circle becomes a place where emotion, prayer, grief, joy, and beauty can move freely through sound.

​Participants may encounter moments of deep calm and restoration, or moments that invite courage and honest expression. Participants may receive energetic adjustments or vocal guidance to support the holding or movement of energy and vibration in the body and voice. The invitation is not to perform, but to explore presence, freedom of expression, deep listening, and the ways sound can help release what has been held and reconnect us with what is most alive within.

​The gathering begins Saturday afternoon with structured time for communion with the group and land, as well as spacious unstructured time for exploration and play. We will share dinner together and continue the journey into the night around the fire.

​In the morning we will enjoy breakfast and come together for an integration session before closing the circle.

​Participants are welcome to remain with the group into the night or retire for rest at any time.

​This weekend journey will be held at a peaceful retreat property in the Kansas City area, allowing us to spend time both indoors and on the beautiful surrounding land. Participants may walk the labyrinth and trails, visit the flowing waters of the creek, or simply rest in the grass beneath the open sky.

​Dinner and breakfast will be provided (omnivore diet). Participants are welcome to bring simple nourishing items or snacks to share if they wish.

​Several sleeping options are available, including outdoor camping, indoor floor space for bedding setups, and a limited number of private rooms and tiny cabins available as optional add-ons.

​Because this gathering is intentionally small and the field is designed for deep personal process and integration, participation is by application so the group field can form with care.

​A $75 non-refundable deposit secures your place once your application is approved.

​Remaining balance is due April 25.

Sunroom twin bed (privacy screen) — $20

​Private tiny cabin — Sleeps up to 4
(Queen Murphy bed + loft bed, microwave, mini-fridge, Keurig, private composting toilet) — $75 total

​Unlimited tent camping spaces available. Access to the main cabin bathroom and kitchen included.

​Limited indoor floor spaces for bedding setups are available.
(Participants bring their own cot, mat, inflatable mattress, and bedding.)
