Whether you're a mother, hope to become one, or know definitively that you're not and are very pleased with that decision, this is a space for you.
Our aim is to bring unique thinkers – with hungry bellies – together to dialogue about the complex topic of motherhood. A special multi-course meal will fill your belly while fifteen other self identified moms fill the table. Through round-table discussion, guided breakout conversations, and moments for personal reflection, we invite you to open your heart and expand your mind around a topic you may have thought about often.
Your hosts, Sura Hertzberg and Gwen Pelfini, are licensed therapists who work with relationships and consciousness expansion. We've spoken at length about these questions – with each other, with our patients, with our friends and communities, and, naturally, with our own mothers. Too often our voices get siloed: we see the glossy Instagram stories, but we lack spaces for real dialogue. We're especially interested in spaces where people share not only from their own experience, but in how they relate to the experiences of others. Through reflective dialogue and other group tools, we hope to deepen and enrich how we all communicate and process together.
Food and the belly are their own complex questions for moms. We aim to feed your mind and your belly with equal intention — offering nourishment in every corner of your life, and caring deliberately for your digestive and your nervous system alike.
