Navigating Kuwait's 2026 Cybersecurity Mandate
Executive Briefing on NCSC Decision No. 2 of 2026, the NBCC Framework and AI-Driven Compliance
Date: 4 May 2026 | 11:00 AM Kuwait Time | 60 Minutes
Hosted by: RSM in Kuwait and 6clicks
On 5 April 2026, Kuwait's National Cyber Security Center issued Decision No. 2 of 2026, formally adopting the National Basic Cybersecurity Controls (NBCC) as the mandatory national cybersecurity baseline.
Organisations within scope - civil government agencies, military authorities, security bodies and private sector entities critical to national infrastructure, must achieve full compliance within 18 months. Non-compliance may lead to regulatory action in line with NCSC's mandate.
Why This Session Matters
Many organisations are yet to assess where they stand. The 18-month window is shorter than it appears once governance structures, documentation and evidence frameworks are factored in.
Missing this session means approaching a binding regulatory deadline without the information needed to act.
What the Session Covers
The structure and scope of NCSC Decision No. 2 of 2026
The NBCC control domains and readiness approach
AI driven NCSC NBCC compliance automation
