Newborn Care Basics Workshop: Caring for Your Baby with Confidence
Are you preparing to welcome a newborn into your home? Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, adoptive parent, foster parent, or caregiver, our How to Care for Your Newborn class will give you the confidence, skills, and knowledge to support your little one during those first precious weeks.
This class is hosted by Boboto Care & The Nanny Grove, and taught by Tracy Mwalumba (@thebirthandbabypro) in partnership with the Toronto Birth Center.

About Your Host – Tracy Mwalumba
Tracy Mwalumba (@thebirthandbabypro) is a trusted mother, doula, new parent coach, lactation consultant, and sleep specialist who has supported hundreds of families through the perinatal period. She is the founder of Boboto Care and The Nanny Grove, bringing holistic, family-centered support to new parents.
Tracy combines professional expertise with lived experience as a mother to guide parents with compassion, patience, and practical wisdom. Families leave her sessions with practical skills, peace of mind, and confidence to care for their newborn.
About Our Host — Toronto Birth Centre
We’re honoured to gather at the Toronto Birth Centre, a welcoming, community-based space dedicated to pregnancy, birth, parenting and family wellness.
Led by Indigenous community members and midwives, the Toronto Birth Centre provides culturally safer, midwife-led care within a beautiful, purpose-built environment rooted in an Indigenous framework. Beyond birth, the Centre is also a hub for education, community programming and resources that support families throughout pregnancy, postpartum and early parenthood.
Located at 525 Dundas Street East in Toronto, it provides a meaningful and fitting home for our Boboto Care community classes.
