Crafting a Public Narrative
Change rarely spreads on facts alone — it spreads on narrative. With Shabnam, we'll learn how to craft your public narrative so that people feel called to join your cause, rather than simply informed of it. You'll leave with the building blocks of a story of self, us and now — the language you need to move people from attention to action.
Shabnam is a champion within our community and a fearless women's rights activist working at the forefront of the movement. Previous PowHer participants found her insights genuinely invaluable.
This session will be supported by Jana, who trained in Public Narrative: Leadership, Storytelling and Action at the Harvard Kennedy School — a course designed by Professor Marshall Ganz, the architect of President Obama's winning 2008 campaign.
