DC Day Trips - Tubing in Harpers Ferry
βJoin DC Day Trips for an outdoors adventure to Harpers Ferry!
βWhere are we going this time?
βπ Harpers Ferry, WV: We'll arrive around 10am to check out the historic downtown. Wander along the paths that used to be old canals and checkout the preserved 19th century buildings (now museums).
βπ Lunch: Just before 12pm we'll head over to a nearby brewery for a group pizza lunch. This is where we really get to know each other better before the group floats down river.
β𦦠It's time to float! Bring your sunnies, a swimsuit, and relax as you take the beauty of a wild Shenandoah River. (approx 2.5 hours)
βπ After our float, we'll change and head back to DC.

βAbout Us
DC Day Trips is cultivating a community of Washingtonians who love the outdoors and want to spend less time planning and more time connecting with nature and friends.
βWe believe the outdoors should be more accessible to DC residents (no car? no problem). That's why we help plan ALL the logistics, including transportation.
βThis year, we are hosting trips to hike, paddle, explore, and gather in the incredible outdoor spaces the DMV has to offer. Destinations are just outside the beltway, only 1-3 hours away from DC.
Visit the DC Day Trips website to learn more who we are, what we're about, and what else is coming up!
βThe Fine Print
βPlease note that once the trip payment is processed, it is non-refundable. In the event of extreme weather or other circumstances that prevent the trip from running safely, your payment will be applied as a credit toward a future DC Day Trips experience.
βTubing is a generally safe, calm open water activity, but there may be occasional rapids. While all participants are given life vests, it is not advised that non-swimmers participate in this activity. Participation is at your own risk.
