About Event

Imagine having access to a limitless, infinitely detailed, infinitely varied universe, which you can completely control, and yet remains surprising. If this sounds like a dream, it is precisely because it is.

In this talk, we will explore the world of dreams, and more precisely, lucid dreaming. What exactly are lucid dreams? Why and how do they happen? Can you train to have more dreams, more lucid dreams? Can you really do everything you want in a lucid dream?

We will answer all these questions, punctuating the explanations with experiences and anecdotes from my own lucid dreaming journey.

Vassilis Papadopoulos (vassi.life) is a theoretical physicist, who now works on various aspects of Artificial Life and Emergence of Complexity. He is interested in anything loosely related to science: making robots and video games, keeping ants and fish, exploring dreams, and pondering the consequences of jumping into a black hole.
