Tired of being tired? Same! We're bringing the girls back together with some of the region’s foremost experts in hormonal health, nutrition, and fitness to decrypt what’s making us all so exhausted.
Good Energy, the next event in the Desire Redefined speaker series, will focus on the resources pre, peri, & menopausal women often need before desire can even enter the picture: energy.
Our panel of medical and wellness experts will help cut through the confusion, misinformation, and hot takes surrounding hormonal health, strength, sleep, and nutrition from an evidence-based perspective. We'll emerge feeling energized, informed, and a little more dangerous in the best way.

Aleece Fosnight, MSPAS, PA-C is the founder, owner, and director of the Fosnight Center for Sexual Health in Asheville. She is a nationally certified Physician Associate, menopause practitioner, sexuality counselor and educator, with expertise spanning female sexual health, low libido, pelvic pain, menopause transition, pregnancy and postpartum sexuality, pelvic floor concerns, and intimacy. Her work centers on whole-person sexual health care through an inclusive, consent-forward, trauma-informed, and integrative lens.
Dr. Kate Dwyer, DCN, MS HNFM, RDN, LDN is a registered dietitian and Doctor of Clinical Nutrition based in Asheville. Through Kate Dwyer Nutrition, she focuses on science-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, hormone shifts, metabolic health, fatigue, mood changes, and feeling less like themselves. Her work helps women better understand how food, stress, sleep, and lifestyle shape energy, hormones, and overall well-being.
Tera Pruett is an Asheville-based strength, endurance, and run coach and the founder of Unstoppable AVL. With more than 22 years of fitness experience, she specializes in working with perimenopausal women, helping clients build strength, endurance, confidence, and resilience through personal training, run coaching, group workouts, nutrition support, and outdoor community events.

What is this event? Good Energy is a women’s health and lifestyle panel focused on the connection between energy, sleep, mood, hormones, nutrition, movement, and desire. After settling in over refreshments, we’ll explore why this life stage can feel so depleting and what women can do to rebuild energy and reconnect with themselves.
Who is this event for? This event is for anyone approaching perimenopause or navigating menopause, particularly those struggling with energy depletion, body changes, demanding careers, caregiving, low libido, or the feeling that desire has become harder to access.
What will I learn? You’ll learn how to leverage movement, hormonal health, and nutrition to address mood instability, stress, and fatigue. The goal is to leave with practical, accessible tools to rebuild strength, improve mood, and increase energy during a uniquely demanding life stage.
Will there be time for questions? Yes! We’ll have dedicated time for audience Q&A, including selected questions submitted in advance. You can submit a question when you register, or email the event host at egpermenter@gmail.com
Will questions be anonymous? Questions submitted in advance may be referenced anonymously during the panel. We want this to feel like a safe, honest space to ask about the things many women are thinking about but rarely get to discuss openly.
Is this an event for partners? While some aspects will feel particularly relevant to attendees in partnerships, the conversation should be applicable for anyone looking for clarity, or reconnection with themselves. We ask that people that aren't personally experiencing effects of pre/peri/menopause sit this one out.
What should I wear? Something fun that makes you feel beautiful - like you're going on a date with someone you really like (hint: it's you)
Will there be food & drinks? Yes - we’ll have light bites and drinks available during the settling-in and social time.
