Queer Urban Tree Identification and Reflection - Washington, DC

​Celebrate spring and rebirth with TVOP! TVOP Volunteers will lead a lesson on tree identification followed by a walk through a quiet residential neighborhood. We will learn the names of common trees and there will be time to reflect on what we've learnt together.

This event is for anyone who's ever wanted to know about the trees on their local commute and who want to connect with their local (urban) ecology. We hope that participants can walk away with a new way to feel connected with their surroundings and find peace in the midst of urban chaos.
