​This session is the first in a three-part series exploring how culture shapes the way we think, communicate, and collaborate — often without us realizing it.

​Part 1 — Presentation
We introduce a working definition of culture and unpack how it operates across:

• ​Hofstede’s Six Dimensions of National Culture

• ​Hall’s theories of time, context, and communication

• ​The Lewis Triangle: Linear-Active, Multi-Active, Reactive cultures

• ​Language, community size, and the Cultural Adjustment Cycle

• ​Why Dunbar’s Number still matters in modern social systems

​Part 2 — Workshop
You’ll be matched into small groups with your cultural opposites.

​Together, you’ll explore:

• ​Power distance, hierarchy, and trust

• ​Time, interruption, silence, and decision-making

• ​Whether these models reveal deep truths — or fall apart in practice

​Is culture measurable… or is it all nonsense?

​Part 3 — Reflection (One Month Later)
At the end of your time at NS, you’ll be invited to reflect on:

• ​How your country of origin shapes your worldview

• ​What changed when you worked across cultural distance

• ​How awareness alters behavior — individually and collectively
