Avalo Farm Days - 2026

​Get out of the office and onto the land to see, feel and smell where your clothes come from.

​Farm Days is a chance to understand your supply chain, talk to the regenerative farmers who are making the future of textiles possible, visit a local gin to hear about their current challenges, and see how the industry is evolving to address the challenges ahead.

​What's on the agenda:

• ​R&D research fields — Walk rows of cotton varieties bred with Avalo's computational platform and see how genomic selection is changing what's possible

• ​Farmer in the Avalo program — Hear firsthand what it means to grow Avalo cotton, from planting decisions to harvest

• ​Cotton gin — See the crop go from boll to bale

• ​Fiber research center — Explore what fiber quality looks like when breeding starts with the end in mind

​Logistics:

• ​Arrive: Lubbock, Texas by 5:00 PM on September 30

• ​Depart: No earlier than 6:00 PM on October 1

• ​Avalo covers: Hotel accommodations and all meals

• ​On you: Transportation to/from Lubbock and local transfers
