Free EU-funded course for English-speaking migrant women in Latvia & Estonia. Get hands-on lab experience at Latvia’s leading technical university with one of Europe’s largest textile testing labs. Women from Estonia are eligible for a refund for transportation and accommodation costs.

This course offers a balanced combination of clear theoretical guidance and hands-on laboratory experience, allowing participants to gain practical insight into textile testing methods, equipment, and real-life applications. It is especially suited for women who value structured learning, applied knowledge, and meaningful skill development.

The course will be led by Inga Dāboliņa head and senior researcher of Personal Protective Equipment Laboratory at Riga Technical University, who will guide participants step by step through the testing process from understanding equipment and procedures to analysing results through case studies and discussion. The learning environment is supportive, professional, and designed to encourage confidence and participation at every stage.
