​Friends, old and new — you’re invited to the tenth-or-so year of the All American Thanksgiving with Friends. We outgrew the backyard a while ago, so this year we’re going big.

​This is a real Thanksgiving feast — traditional, high-quality, and catered by Luscious Jimmy, hands-down the best in Orange County. Turkey, the works, the sides you actually look forward to, and enough food that no one leaves hungry. We’re doing this properly, in a large venue, surrounded by the people who have shown up year after year, and deliberately open so you can meet some new ones.

​It is faith-based. Before we eat, we gather in one big circle and pray together — simply, gratefully, and as a group. No long sermon, no pressure, just a shared moment of thanks before the meal. After that, the night is a party: funny banter, games, special guests, giveaways, and DJ Ochoa on the decks getting people moving. Karaoke may (will) happen again. Who’s singing Sweet Caroline with me?

​TicketsThe feast is technically free. Mario and the Trujillo family are covering the cost so everyone can come. That said, we’re asking for a minimum $1 ticket — and you’re welcome to give more if you’re able and not trying to bankrupt us. Think of it as helping keep the tradition going rather than a required entry fee.

​DrinksCash bar only. Bring ones, fives, tens, twenties… and hundreds if you’re one of the lushes.

​Vibes stay good. We keep it that way. Come as you are, bring people you’d like to introduce, and expect a room full of folks who are here for good food, good company, a real prayer, and a night that actually feels like Thanksgiving.
