FAS Data Policy Institute Launch Party
For the past year, the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) has collaborated with data colleagues around the nation to strengthen the federal data ecosystem by monitoring the health of federal datasets, telling the story of how federal data benefit American lives and livelihoods, and mobilizing stakeholders to shape the future of public data.
This work is evolving to the next level as the new FAS Data Policy Institute, a timely catalyst for advancing the field of data policy to build a more effective and resilient national data infrastructure.
Please join us as we publicly launch the Data Policy Institute with an afternoon of candid conversations and lightning talks, perhaps with data improv, a crystal ball to tell the future of federal data, and an option to come dressed as your favorite federal dataset (or business casual).
Programming will take place from 3:00–5:00 PM, followed by a reception from 5:00–6:30 PM, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Check-in begins at 2:30 PM. Speakers and a full agenda will be announced in advance.
By attending this event, you are consenting to be photographed and recorded. If you have questions or concerns, please email Melanie Klein at [email protected].
