PLACES Conference

​Join WACEO in Ellensburg, WA October 6-8th for Throughlines, our participatory workshop that helps attendees identify shared themes across issue areas—such as economic vitality, cultural heritage, and placemaking—and translate those connections into more aligned, place-based strategies. The session focuses on how communities can move from siloed efforts toward coordinated approaches rooted in shared values like belonging, economic stability, and local stewardship.

​PLACES is Washington’s annual statewide conference focused on the continued care of place through historic preservation, placemaking, and economic vitality, brought to you by the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation and the Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation.

​The PLACES Conference allows preservationists, planners, downtown development professionals, and anyone who cares about place to dive deep into creative ideas, build their network, and inspire new solutions.
