From Chatbot to Agent: AI for High School Students #CTTechWeek
AI isn't just a better search engine — the newest systems can plan, reason through problems, and take action across multiple steps. They can also confidently produce garbage. Knowing the difference is becoming one of the most important skills a student can have, and almost nobody is teaching it.
In this two-hour session hosted by dae and Synchrony Skills Academy, high school students will get their hands on agentic AI tools — not to watch a demo, but to push them, break them, and figure out where they're powerful and where they fall apart. They'll see how today's AI goes well beyond chatbot Q&A, learn to spot the moments when it's making things up, and start building real judgment about when to trust it and when to think for themselves.
No experience required. Just show up ready to experiment.
