The Body Remembers: A Somatic Activation for Your Nervous System
Grab your favorite tea or a cozy snack and join us for the next Conscious Conversation, an intimate virtual gathering where we explore what it means to heal, feel, and live more fully in our bodies. This session, we're joined by Amanda Baudier, Spiritual Teacher and Founder of the Becoming Collective, for a conversation and live somatic activation.
We'll open by weaving together the cross-cultural roots of somatic healing, from African shaking rituals to Sufi movement practices to Indigenous ceremony, alongside the science of why the body holds stress and what actually happens when we let it complete. Then Amanda guides the group through a live somatic activation, designed to be accessible for anyone new to this work. We close in open reflection: what did you notice, what wants to be said.
This one is for you if...
You carry stress in your body but don't quite know what to do with it, or why it keeps coming back
You're curious about somatic healing but have never experienced it firsthand and want a gentle, grounded entry point
