Bangalore, you need new friends.
Making friends was easy when we were kids.
You sat next to someone. Played something stupid. Talked about absolutely nothing. And somehow, you became friends.
Somewhere along the way, meeting new people became networking events, LinkedIn connections, awkward introductions and asking everyone what they do.
We don't want that.
Matcha with Macha is a small experiment.
We're bringing together a curated group of 18–25 year olds at Cubbon Park for one Sunday morning.
You'll play some games.
Meet a bunch of strangers.
Have conversations you probably wouldn't normally have.
Drink filter coffee.
And hopefully leave knowing a few people you'd actually want to see again.
No speakers.
No panels.
No business cards.
No networking.
Come alone. Leave with machas.
okay but what actually happens?
We're deliberately not telling you everything.
There'll be games, random pairings, stupid questions, small-group conversations and a few things we're still cooking.
You don't need to prepare anything.
You don't need to be extroverted.
And you definitely don't need an elevator pitch.
Just show up.
who is this for?
18–25 year olds in Bangalore.
Students, designers, builders, artists, founders, musicians, engineers, creators, people with normal jobs, people with weird jobs and people still figuring it out.
We're not selecting people based on how impressive their LinkedIn looks.
We're trying to put together a genuinely interesting mix of people who probably wouldn't otherwise meet.
Entry is curated.
Applying does not guarantee a spot.
should I come alone?
Yes.
Seriously.
Coming alone is encouraged.
You can apply with friends, but everyone needs to apply individually — and we'll probably separate you during parts of the morning anyway.
The whole point is meeting people you don't already know.
