Welcome to another Field Trip, hosted by The Plan. This month, we're going to a gorgeous contemporary art museum, right in the heart of Ridgefield: The Aldrich
Every Friday til Labor Day, they host summer happy hours and I've heard such GREAT things about this event series. Tonight, we'll check it out together.
Meet us in the Sculpture Garden behind the museum for drinks & snacks, then we'll all head indoors to check out the latest exhibit and do a studio craft with the kids.

How much is it?
The Aldrich is hooking us up with 50% off museum admission + a free drink at the bar. How lovely! ($10/adults, $4.50/students, U12 free)
What will we see?
We'll see The Aldrich Decennial ("I am what is around me"), an exhibition which spotlights a roster of 40 artists who live and work in Connecticut, like New Haven-based painter Dominic Chambers, Iranian-born multi-media artist Arghavan Khosravi, and poet Renee Gladman.
What should I bring?
Just yourself and your kiddos.
Wait, what's a Field Trip?
Sometimes all you need to bring a plan to life is for someone to hold your hand and say: "This is what we're doing today. Are you in?" That someone is me. Once a month, I'll pick an event and we'll all head there together to check it out.
