Community Wildfire Leaders Meeting - Hood River County

A new opportunity for residents leading, or interested in leading, wildfire resilience efforts in their neighborhoods. Whether you're a Firewise leader or simply helping organize local action, this group is designed to connect community organizers across the county.

The group will provide a space to share successes and challenges, learn from fire professionals, explore funding opportunities, and collaborate with others working toward similar goals.

Our first meeting will focus on introductions, the group's purpose, and gathering input on meeting frequency, timing, and training topics to ensure the group meets participants' needs. We hope this becomes a valuable network for sharing ideas, building connections, and strengthening community wildfire resilience.
