The Opalene Climate Challenge, launched by VertueLab, backs Washington-based startups that tap into Washington’s pioneering spirit, inventing solutions for local climate resilience and scalable impact our planet urgently needs.

​This event will showcase some of Washington’s most promising climate tech startups and announce investments in Opalene Climate Challenge finalists, with the top companies poised to receive checks of $100k or more.

​These early-stage companies will take the stage to share breakthrough technologies and innovative business models they are building to make our world more affordable, healthier, and safer.
