The Utility Solutions Forum — presented by the National Public Utilities Council (NPUC) and driven by Motive Power — unites utility leaders for two focused half-days during New York Climate Week 2026.
This year's theme, Utilities at the Center of America's Energy Expansion, reflects the moment: AI, data centers, electrification, and explosive load growth are forcing utilities to make bigger decisions, faster, with less certainty than before.
Day One centers on Utilities Powering the AI & Data Center Boom — an executive panel on meeting demand without breaking the grid, a sponsor innovation showcase, and a hands-on utility challenge.
Day Two focuses on Building a Reliable, Resilient & Affordable Energy Future — a fireside chat on the utility of 2035, a leadership panel on planning for growth while maintaining reliability, a second interactive challenge, and a closing conversation on what utilities need from technology, regulators, and partners next.
