SEC Crypto Task Force Founders Breakfast
Detroit Blockchain Collective will host the SEC Crypto Task Force and SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce for a private Founders Breakfast at the University of Michigan.
This meeting is intended to facilitate a structured dialogue between ecosystem builders and the SEC Crypto Task Force. The discussion will focus on regulatory considerations relevant to early-stage blockchain projects, including compliance obligations, areas of uncertainty for startups, and the practical impact of existing policies on product development.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Present specific regulatory challenges encountered in the course of building
Seek clarification on applicable federal securities requirements
Discuss how regulatory frameworks intersect with technical and operational realities
Share observations from the local emerging blockchain ecosystem
Applications are open to all blockchain founders. Approvals will prioritize teams with an active need for regulatory clarity. Attendance for this session is by approval only, as space is limited to ensure each founder has meaningful time to engage directly with the SEC Crypto Task Force.
Hosted by Detroit Blockchain Collective, this meeting reflects our mission to strengthen Michigan’s crypto ecosystem by fostering constructive engagement between innovators and federal regulators and by promoting a clearer understanding of the regulatory environment affecting blockchain development.
