[Free women only hike]: Hopfensee Loop & Forggensee

​a relaxed lake loop right by füssen, with the allgäu alps rising behind the water the whole way. we'll finish up at forggensee, one of bavaria's most beautiful lakes, with time to chill by the water and grab something to eat before heading home. this one's a full day out given the train ride, but an easy, low-key day made for slowing down.

​the day prior to the hike, a what's app group will be opened to communicate easily.

​distance: 7 km · elevation: low (~114m gain) · time: 1.5 to 2 h walking, plus relaxed time by the lake afterward · difficulty: easy. flat, well-maintained lakeside path. 🥾

​meeting point at Munich Pasing: ⚠️ (not HBF) 8:38am RB74 to Buchloe and Buchloe RB77 to Fuessen - please be at the Munich Pasing platform for this train at 8:25am (check screens for platform).

​--> due to the travel duration to Füssen this will be a full day event and after the hike we will have some time to socialize and grab a snack/drink

​logistics: this hike has limited spots, please sign up. this is a full-day trip given the travel time and relaxed pace after the hike, please plan accordingly. to ensure everyone has a great day, the hike will start promptly at the scheduled time. as the group will be moving together from the meeting point, we kindly ask that you plan your journey to arrive accordingly, as we aren't able to hold the start for late arrivals. we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping the day on track!

​what to bring: sturdy hiking shoes or boots. packed lunch, snacks and at least 1.5l of water. sunscreen. bring some extra cash for a bite to eat by the lake afterward. 🧺

​cost: free. you only pay for your public transport (and whatever you grab to eat after). 🪙
