Workshop - Building the Capability to Collaborate with Startups
Many established organizations engage with startups through pilots, accelerators, venture investments, innovation challenges, and partnership programs. Yet outcomes vary significantly. While some organizations consistently create business value through startup collaboration, others struggle to move beyond isolated activities and occasional successes.
This workshop explores startup collaboration as an organizational capability rather than a collection of activities. Drawing on emerging research and the experiences of participants, we will explore the capabilities that enable organizations to effectively engage, test, learn, and create value together with startups.
The session combines research insights, self-reflection, and peer learning to identify what characterizes mature startup collaboration organizations and what organizations can do to strengthen their capabilities over time.
Target group: Established organizations within the private and public sector with experience from working with startups
