​Resiliency Action Lab : Disaster Prep at Lightning Society

​New York has always been a city that runs on collective nerve — but nerve alone won't keep the lights on when the grid goes down, the shelves go bare, or the next big storm decides to make this borough its business. The truth is, most of us are one disruption away from being completely unprepared, and that's not a personal failing — it's a design flaw we can fix together. On Tuesday, June 23rd from 6:30–9:00PM at Lightning Society, we're gathering to do exactly that.

​This is the first of a series of Action Labs — not a lecture, not a scare session. Come ready to connect with your neighbors, pool your knowledge, and walk away with a real, personalized plan to bug in for 14 days right here in NYC. Bring your laptop, a pen and paper, or a journal. Set aside $30–$200 to invest in your own bespoke prep kit — what you need will be specific to you, your household, and your block, and we'll help you figure out exactly what that is.
