Bar Lecture - "The Ceuta crisis: what really happened, and why"

​In July thousands of people crossed from Morocco into Ceuta in a few days. Dozens died. Since then everyone has an opinion on whether Sánchez handled it right, but very few people know what actually happened.

​Francesco Pasetti does. He’s a researcher at CIDOB and teaches at UPF, and migration at the Spanish border is what he works on. On 14 October he comes to Mint Bar to explain it: the history between Spain and Morocco, what happened in July, and what the options are now. Then questions, and he’s happy to be challenged.
