Dell x NVIDIA Hackathon / Local AI on Dell Pro Max with GB10
Dell x NVIDIA’s Local AI on Dell Pro Max with GB10 is a one-day hackathon in San Francisco focused on building an always-on business AI agent that runs locally on the Dell Pro Max with GB10.
Challenge
Teams are asked to build a useful AI agent for business or corporate use cases using the required stack: OpenClaw, NVIDIA NemoClaw, and OpenShell.[1] All AI workloads must run locally on the Dell Pro Max with GB10 provided on-site, and the final demo must also run on that machine.[1]
What makes it different
Every team receives access to a Dell Pro Max with GB10 for the day.
The event emphasizes local-first AI rather than cloud-dependent demos.
It is organized as a Dell Technologies and NVIDIA hackathon and run by BuilderBase.
The format is designed for a full-day build and evening top-8 pitches rather than an overnight marathon.
Team rules
Teams must have 2 to 4 builders.
Solo registrations are not accepted as final teams, but solo applicants may be matched with others.
Small teams and solo registrants may be merged by the organizers.
Smaller teams receive a scoring bonus to help balance competition against larger teams.
Prizes
Prizes are awarded per team rather than per individual builder, so winning teammates share the team prize.
Who should apply
The event is aimed at AI/ML engineers, full-stack builders, and applied researchers who want hands-on time with Dell Pro Max with GB10 hardware and can ship a working technical agent in a single day.
