Taller: Cocina para Niños

​Taller de Cocina para Niños is a hands-on bilingual workshop designed for little hands and growing minds.

​Part of our talleres para niños, these experiences focus on simple, real-life skills through play, while introducing Spanish in a natural, low-pressure way.

​During this workshop, children will practice basic kitchen skills like cutting and mixing as they create a child-friendly fruit snack using child-safe tools in a guided, supportive environment.

​We’ll begin with a short, interactive storytime, followed by our hands-on activity, and then open the space for play and connection en comunidad.

​Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their children, model curiosity, and engage with simple Spanish vocabulary connected to food and everyday actions.

​A simple, meaningful way to learn, create, and be together.

​Participation Notes

• ​Caregivers must remain on site and are encouraged to participate

• ​Children will use child-safe tools during the workshop

• ​Children need grip socks to explore the equipment during open play

• ​This is a guided, child-centered experience designed to be gentle and age-appropriate

• ​Please notify us of any food allergies during registration

• ​Comfortable clothing recommended

​​Liability Waiver (Required)

​​Participation in this event requires a completed liability waiver for each participating child. The waiver must be completed prior to the event. Children without a completed waiver will not be able to participate in this activity.

​​Photo & Media Notice

​​Photos and short video clips may be taken during the event for community and promotional use (website, social media, and email). No child names or identifying information will ever be shared.

​​If you prefer your child not be photographed, please let us know at check-in.
