Harlem Meer Stroll | The Nest Harlem & Up
Join fellow Nest Mamas in Harlem for a fall stroll through the Harlem Meer & North Woods in Central Park 🍂🍁
This is a low-key, welcoming space to connect with other new and expecting Moms in the area — no agenda, no pressure, just community 🫶
We’ll start at the Harlem Meer closest cross streets are Central Park North & Malcom X Blvd to try to spot the heron that’s been hanging out for a few months now - the new boardwalk has become a fun spot for running toddlers as it feels contained to some extent! Sometimes if we are lucky we see hawks swooping by and definitely geese, ducks and turtles galore 🦆🐢Then if time allows it and for those up for it, we will continue to stroll towards the North Woods Loch which is super close by, for waterfalls & chipmunks 🌳🐿️
If you need somewhere to go before or after, there’s a great playground on 108 and 5th Av in the park that caters to all ages 🛝
What to bring: I always suggest a snack or two for hungry running toddlers. Jackets and warm gear, good walking shoes & hats. Hopefully it’s sunny!
Who it’s for: Prenatal + Postpartum Moms (babies & toddlers welcome)
What to expect: Friendly faces, easy conversation, and a chance to build local connections

The vast majority of members come on their own and Candice, our Harlem & Up Co-Leads, will make introductions when you arrive <3

Rain Alternative ☔️ - Studio Museum Cafe, 144 W 125th St (in between Lenox and Adam Clayton Blvd). Say you’re just going to get a coffee, take elevator to Lower level and go around, you’ll see big wooden benches/stairs!
