Lessons from Accompanying Discernment Processes
How can we learn to accompany communal discernment processes? What helps those processes become genuinely fruitful?
In this webinar, Mr Josep Lozano and Fr Francisco José SJ share the experience of the EIDES study group on communal discernment: how it began, the method behind it, and how to set up a group of your own. Drawing on a range of real discernment processes, they will then distil the recurring lessons these experiences reveal — the key elements that make communal discernment work — and point to open questions worth exploring in future sessions.
This session is for anyone involved in discernment-oriented facilitation, formation, leadership, or pastoral work — whether in Jesuit communities, religious congregations, educational institutions, parishes, or other apostolic settings.
Participants will come away with concrete inspiration for starting similar processes in their own contexts, and a clearer sense of what makes shared discernment fruitful.
Language of the session will be Spanish, with English and French live translation available.
