Matterwave Portfolio Day (Portfolio Companies)

​Matterwave Portfolio Day is our flagship annual event celebrating the achievements of our portfolio companies (that’s you!). As every year, we aim to make it a value-adding event in your busy calendars and connect you with our cherished network of founders, investors, business partners, and experts for a day full of insights and connection.

​This year's theme is The New Industrial Stack — the convergence of the AI stack (compute, models, data, infrastructure, applications) with the industrial stack (materials, machines, processes, operations). Every Matterwave portfolio company has a place in it:

• ​Enablers — compute, data, orchestration, infrastructure

• ​Embedders — applications and operations inside real industrial value chains

​Agenda

​We kept agenda very similar to last year.

​The Matterwave team will be at the venue from 9:00 and you should plan to arrive at the venue before 10:00.

​At 10:00 we will organize an insightful workshop on AI with other founders from the Matterwave portfolio and external experts until 12:30. We will make sure that this is well worth your time. Afterwards you can enjoy lunch and networking until 14:00.

​Doors open for external guests at 13:00 and the content program will run between 14:00-18:00. The program is centered around your pitches. We will reach out to you separately if you should give a short pitch on stage and help you prepare a stellar pitch. Also, each of you will have a booth outside the main room to facilitate networking with other guests.

​After 18:00, we will move to another floor in the same building to enjoy some delicious food and drinks and the great views over Munich from the terrace. It's a great opportunity to chat with other founders and the VCs that we have selectively invited to attend.

We will do our best to connect you to the right people. The list of attendants will be shared before the event and we will make the intros you need.

​Please book your travel to Munich so you can be at the venue on the morning of October 15th before 10:00
