About Event

As per Ops Stories tradition, every now and then, we put our heads together to dive into an operational topic presented to us by one of our community members.

The format is simple and informal - the host presents the topic and shares a couple of questions, we split into small groups (3-5 people), and then we discuss. At the end of the session, we bring our learnings together so we can share them with the wider community.

This time, the topic is brought by Steffi Rose, Strategy and Operations Manager at Yellow Canary. Together, we’ll be talking about our best practices for internal knowledge management.

Chaos. Information overload. Brains on fire. We all know the pain and frustration that comes with trying to keep up with all the platforms and tools and emails and DMs and meetings. As ops people, it’s usually our job to organise the chaos and enable our teams to document and share information as easily and painlessly as possible.

🤔 Some questions we’ll be tackling:

  • What apps and tools have supported or hindered knowledge management at your company?

  • How are you currently structuring your internal 'wiki' or knowledge management resources?

  • What knowledge management practices and processes are in place to make your life easier?

  • Where does the responsibility move from ops to teams and individuals? How can we support that?

By the end of the session, we're hoping to assemble a series of practical examples to help us restructure internal knowledge management.

See you there!
