Demystifying The Ends
The Ends are changing right in front of our eyes. Our Community centres are being closed down, neighbourhoods are being erased, and the future of The Ends is being shaped without us.
But the question is, who’s making the decisions? Better yet, how can we start to influence the decisions being made?
That’s why, at the next Architecture School, led by Simon Shtbunaev, who is a lecturer for planning at BCU and a Ladywood resident, we’re going to get to understand:
How decisions get made about the built environment?
What's the process for planning approval?
How can communities intervene?
Who decides what gets built?
Understanding the rules of the game is the first step in changing how the game is played.
But more importantly, we'll learn what we can do to shape the future of The Ends.
