Doing it Yourself, Together: Orchestrating Grassroots Movements

​Four maker advocacy organizations —Fab Foundation, Nation of Makers, Open Source Medical Supplies, and Tikkun Olam Makers — have come together in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to mobilize local grassroots making and manufacturing capabilities to facilitate increased access to personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies around the world.

​Leaders from each of these organizations will share their reflections on the incredible aggregate power of local fabrication efforts, and host a spirited community discussion, offering an inside glimpse into the challenges and inspirations of being organizers and networkers within the highly independence-oriented maker/fabricator/distributed manufacturer global movements during the COVID-19 crisis.
