From Flexport to Founders Fund: A Conversation with Ryan Petersen
Join us for a discussion with Ryan Petersen, CEO & Founder of Flexport as well as Venture Partner at Founders Fund. Ryan founded Flexport in 2013 and led its growth into a global logistics company valued at over $4B. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Flexport played a critical role in keeping supply chains operating and moving goods for thousands of companies worldwide.
Now, as a Venture Partner at Founders Fund, Ryan focuses on supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs. In this event, he will share his perspective on scaling companies, navigating global challenges, and the evolving future of commerce.
The program will feature a moderated discussion followed by audience Q&A. Students will have the opportunity to engage directly with Ryan and explore the intersections of entrepreneurship, trade, and venture capital.
Hosted by: The Yale Table, Stanford Founders, Entrepreneurs First
Entrepreneurs First (EF) turns exceptional individuals into funded founders. Some might have an early idea, others may need a cofounder. What matters is their potential. We back these founders first, then give them a bridge to Silicon Valley. To date, EF-backed companies are valued at more than $11B.
