About Event

We're inviting you to an exclusive dinner in Berlin on 11 November.

A small, carefully chosen group sitting down together for an evening that's more conversation than conference.

A private dinner for 20 payroll leaders who are ready to think differently about what their function can be. Not what the software allows. Not what the template suggests. What's actually possible when the tools finally catch up with the ambition.

The payroll leaders who will shape the next five years aren't waiting for their platform to release a new feature. They're asking different questions:

  • Can I close a payroll run with full confidence, not just a checklist?

  • Does my compliance process flag what I need before an audit forces me to go looking for it?

  • Is my team spending its energy on paying people accurately or on chasing down exceptions?

Over three courses, we'll explore what payroll looks like when those questions have better answers. You'll leave with a clearer picture of where the function is heading, what your peers are already doing differently, and what becomes possible when payroll stops fitting itself to the system.

Our hosts at the table

Melanie Pizzey is the founder and CEO of the Global Payroll Association (GPA), an organization that supports global payroll and HR professionals. She co-hosts the evening with Remote.

Michiel Boere, CFO of Remote, shares how Remote runs payroll for its own team across dozens of countries, including what we'd do differently. It's an unusually open look at payroll from the finance side, and a good starting point for the conversation around the table.

What to expect:

  • A three-course dinner in one of Berlin's finest dining spaces

  • An intimate conversation with 20 payroll leaders asking the same questions you are

  • Fresh thinking from Remote on where payroll is heading and what it unlocks for your team

  • Co-hosted by Remote and the Global Payroll Association, with GPA founder and CEO Melanie Pizzey at the table
