About Event

A free, easy evening walk along the Thames. No agenda, no talks, no pitches, no name badges.

We meet outside the Pret at the Royal Festival Hall, cut through to the river, and just follow it east. Past the book market under Waterloo Bridge, the National Theatre, the OXO Tower, Tate Modern and the Globe. The whole route stays on the water, about 1.8km, taken slowly over a couple of hours with plenty of stopping.

We finish at The Anchor on Bankside, a riverside pub, around 7. Sunset's just after, so the light should be good coming down Bankside. Stay for a drink or head off, whatever you fancy.

If you joined Aleph recently and haven't actually met anyone yet, this is the easy one to come to. Come on your own, that's rather the point.

Free to join, drinks are on you. Bring a jacket and shoes you can walk in.

Meet outside the Pret at the Royal Festival Hall. It's on the Belvedere Road side of the building, the back side away from the river, not the riverside terrace. Nearest stations: Waterloo (5 min), Embankment (8 min over the Golden Jubilee Bridge). Grab a coffee if you want one, we set off at 5:15. Running late? Message the group and catch us up, we're on the river path heading east.
