About Event

The plateau isn't stagnation. It's proof you've already built something worth outgrowing.

This is the night Leader's Plateau becomes Leader's Platform — the point where you stop asking why you're stuck and start deciding what's next. It is a night for founders, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and leaders of every kind who are done pretending that plateau isn't there.

But nobody builds that next chapter solo. That's the whole premise of this room: you weren't built to do this alone. Every person here is standing on their own plateau, ready to trade what's actually working — and what isn't — instead of the highlight reel.

Bring your toughest question. Leave with the people who can help you answer it.

Limited seats. Food for the evening. A fireside conversation on what it actually takes to grow past where you are, followed by open Q&A, then real conversation for as long as you want to stay.

This is our third gathering, and the first one outside Cupertino. If the drive down the Peninsula has kept you out before, we're bringing it to you.

What to expect

  • A True Village: A welcoming room of leaders who understand the unique weight of building a business.

  • High Vibes: Food, drinks, and a few local makers we're spotlighting. Say hi, and connect.

  • Real, Direct Answers: A structured conversation on breaking through, not another panel reciting advice you've already heard. Bring your toughest questions, whether business or personal. We will guide the Q&A so that we address the actual challenges in the room.

  • Good Company: People who showed up curious, not closed off. Low-pressure, high-vibe conversation with people who truly get it.

What you'll walk away with

At minimum, connections worth keeping. At best, a clearer sense of where you and your business and your life are actually headed, because you heard yourself say it out loud, not because someone told you.

This is your opportunity to reclaim control of your story.

Your Hosts

  • Steele Nakamoto is a provisional field director with Black Diamond, where he helps individuals and business owners build real financial protection: life insurance, business succession planning, and long-term strategy that holds up when life gets hard. As a member of the HumanOp community, he's gained clarity on what he naturally is and the confidence to build a business and life around that blueprint, not who he thought he was supposed to be. Trust, to him, is earned through paying attention and following through, which is exactly what you notice when you're around him: he's the one making the introduction you actually needed, or opening his own office to a room full of founders because he'd rather build the room than wait to be invited into one. His goal for anyone he works with, mentors, or meets is simple. Leave with more confidence, more hope, and a clearer sense of where you're headed next.

  • Liz Nguyen is an Implementer at HumanOp and the host behind this village. Her work is rooted in one thing: seeing the potential in founders — even when they can't see it in themselves — and building spaces where they feel strong enough to act on it. Through The Founder's Dividend (humanop.com/dividend), Liz embeds with founder-led businesses to extract the Operational IP from the founder's head and install it in the business — so the business can run without you at the center of everything. She's here to uplift. To build the container. To make sure no founder navigates the hard parts alone.

Featuring

  • Wei Houng is Co-Founder of HumanOp and has spent 30+ years pattern-reading founders, Fortune 10 executives, and high-performance operators. His work is a patent-protected method — built on understanding how you're actually wired so you can stop working against yourself. Through HumanOp Coherence (humanop.com/coherence), Wei offers strategic advisory for 7-figure founders and CEOs who've stopped recognizing the person doing the winning. Thirty years later, the premium founders find him — not the other way around. This fireside is a rare, small-group environment to access his frameworks.
