Finding My People: A Small Women's Gathering (San Mateo, 25-35)

​Hey! I moved to San Mateo recently and I'm trying to meet more women in the area in a setting that doesn't involve loud bars or awkward networking events.

​A little about me: I'm 31, Indian, and I love good books, good coffee, and even better conversations. I'm convinced I'm funnier than my husband. (He disagrees.)

​I grew up in India, have lived in Paris and Dallas, and just moved to the Bay Area. My day job is high-pressure enough that I need this, and I'm looking for a tribe of women to hang with and steal dogs from.

​So I'm starting small. I'm hosting 8-10 women at my home in San Mateo for a relaxed evening of board games, maybe a watch party, and good conversation.

​If you're approved, there's a $20 fee. It helps me cover hosting, drinks, and dips, and keeps the group to people who actually plan to show up.

​It's a potluck for the rest, so please bring an appetizer or snack to share. That keeps the spread varied and the cost low for everyone.

​This is my honest attempt to build a little community here, and I'd love for you to be part of it.
