Targeted instruction: field innovations and shared learning
Join fellow implementers of targeted instruction approaches, including Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL), for an event after the What Works Hub for Global Education Conference, hosted by Pratham and Teaching at the Right Level Africa.
The session will bring together organizations working on and funding targeted instruction to share emerging innovations, reflect on implementation experiences, and identify priorities for future learning and research.
The session will include:
Lightning talks from nine organizations: Building Tomorrow, TaRL Africa, Youth Impact, Pratham, the Government of Morocco, Street Child, VVOB, FAAQ, and ARED - sharing innovations they are pursuing around three key themes: instructional model design; delivery and implementation; and mentoring and coaching.
Thematic breakout discussions and facilitated group discussions around each of these three themes.
Collective sensemaking on what we are learning, what questions remain, and where we see important gaps in the evidence and areas for further research.
The launch of a new fund for implementation research in targeted instruction.
Refreshments and small breakfast bites will be available.
We are hosting a separate dinner on the evening of September 16 at 7:30 PM, after the conference reception. Please let us know if you are interested in attending.
