YYC Soundscapes: In Tune with Motion (Session 1)

​YYC Soundscapes: In Tune with Motion is an interactive experience where your movements become music. Step into a motion-capture environment and help create a live soundtrack inspired by the rhythms of Calgary—from the hum of the CTrain to the sounds of everyday city life.

​Guided by professional musicians performing in real time, participants will explore sound, design, and technology together in a playful and immersive setting. Each session takes participants on a creative journey through a “day in Calgary,” with evolving sounds and visuals that shift from morning to evening.

​No musical or technical experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to move, listen, and play. Whether you join in or simply take it all in, YYC Soundscapes invites you to experience the city in a whole new way.
