Build a Real Startup Portfolio Before College

Give your student more than another extracurricular activity.

The Junior Entrepreneurs Hub 6-Week Entrepreneurship & Leadership Program is designed for students ages 11–18 who want to start building a meaningful portfolio while they are still in middle or high school.

Students will work on real startup ideas, build leadership and communication skills, learn how to pitch, receive mentorship from top Silicon Valley founders, investors, operators, and technology leaders, and finish the program with tangible experiences they can later reference in their college applications, resumes, portfolios, interviews, and personal statements.

Every participant will receive a Certificate of Participation, and the winning team will receive the “Junior Startup of the Year 2026” Award at our Big Demo Day.

This is where students begin building the stories, projects, leadership experience, and confidence that can strengthen their future college applications.

6-Week Entrepreneurship & Leadership Program

Junior Entrepreneurs Hub presents a Silicon Valley–driven entrepreneurship and leadership experience for students ages 11–18.

This is not a kids-style activity. Students will work in a professional, collaborative environment where they are expected to think independently, contribute to a team, communicate ideas, solve problems, receive feedback, and experience what building a startup actually feels like.

The program runs from November 1 through December 6, 2026, with in-person sessions every Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Menlo Park, California.

In addition to the weekly in-person sessions, students will have access to up to 4 hours of 1:1 mentorship per week with experienced founders, investors, operators, product leaders, and industry professionals.

What Students Will Experience

Students will move from an initial idea toward a real startup concept while developing practical skills in:

  • Entrepreneurship fundamentals

  • Startup ideation and market validation

  • Creativity and problem-solving

  • Leadership and teamwork

  • Communication and professional presentation

  • AI and no-code tools

  • Product development

  • Go-to-market and business strategy

  • Pitching and storytelling

  • Customer and market thinking

  • Receiving and responding to real-world feedback

  • Building confidence on stage

Students will not simply learn entrepreneurship theoretically. They will build, present, collaborate, make decisions, receive feedback, and pitch.

Two Separate Cohorts

Middle School Cohort
Ages 11–14 | Grades 6–8

Students will focus on entrepreneurship foundations, creativity, teamwork, communication, AI tools, idea development, and building their first startup concept.

High School Cohort
Ages 15–18 | Grades 9–12

Students will go deeper into startup ideation, market validation, product development, AI and no-code tools, business strategy, go-to-market thinking, leadership, storytelling, and pitching.

Meet Our Coaches

Jason Nyeh
Co-Founder, COO, Managing Director, Venture Partner, and Program Manager with experience across startup operations, venture ecosystems, founder support, and entrepreneurship. Jason brings a practical perspective on execution, leadership, and what it takes to move from an idea to a real venture.

Kayvan Baroumand
Founder of SignalRank, focused on investment strategy, seed investing, and venture fund management. Kayvan introduces students to how investors think, what makes a startup compelling, and how founders can communicate their ideas more clearly.

Patrick Eibl
Serial entrepreneur, investor, founder, advisor, and mentor with experience across AI platforms, global markets, trade delegations, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy. Patrick brings an international perspective on innovation, business building, and leadership.

The coach and mentor lineup will continue to be updated before the program begins.

Big Demo Day — December 6, 2026

The six-week experience concludes with our Big Demo Day.

Students will take the stage, present their startup ideas, answer questions, and experience what it feels like to pitch in a real startup environment.

The audience may include Silicon Valley founders, investors, technology leaders, mentors, parents, and members of the startup ecosystem.

The goal is bigger than winning a competition.

Students will learn how to:

  • Present confidently in front of an audience

  • Communicate a business idea clearly

  • Work under pressure

  • Answer challenging questions

  • Collaborate as a startup team

  • Receive professional feedback

  • Develop stage presence

  • Experience a real entrepreneurial environment

Certificates & Awards

Every student will receive a Certificate of Participation recognizing completion of the Junior Entrepreneurs Hub Entrepreneurship & Leadership Program.

One outstanding startup team will also receive the:

🏆 Junior Startup of the Year 2026 Award

This recognition will be presented during the December 6 Big Demo Day.

Start Building a College Portfolio Now

For middle and high school students, meaningful projects can become an important part of their future story.

Participation in this program can help students begin documenting:

Entrepreneurial projects • Leadership experience • Teamwork • Public speaking • Startup development • AI skills • Mentorship experience • Pitching • Awards • Certificates • Real-world extracurricular involvement

These experiences can later support how students present themselves in college applications, activity lists, resumes, portfolios, essays, interviews, and scholarship applications.

The strongest value is not simply adding another line to an application. It is giving students real experiences worth writing and talking about.
