Join Kochi’s developer and open-source community for a practical, hands-on session on agent-driven software development with the GitHub Copilot app.
The event is open to developers of all experience levels. Basic familiarity with GitHub and reading code will be helpful.
✨ Dev Days is a global, in-person community-led initiative taking place from September 1st - October 31st, 2026. The series brings together developers, enthusiasts, and local tech communities to explore the power of GitHub Copilot through practical, hands-on experiences.
Open to all developers, each session runs for approximately 2-3 hours and focuses on real-world workflows, hands-on activities, and workshops centered on GitHub Copilot in the Copilot app and the CLI.

What to bring
This is a bring-your-own-laptop workshop. Every participant should bring:
A laptop and charger
A working GitHub account
GitHub Copilot Free or a higher plan
Git installed and working
Permission to install software on the laptop
The GitHub Copilot app installed before arrival

Registration and approval
This is a hands-on event with limited powered seating. Registration requests will therefore be reviewed by the organizing team.
Please request a seat only when you expect to:
Attend the complete event from 4:00–7:00 PM
Bring a laptop and charger
Participate in the hands-on workshop
Complete the required setup before the event
An application does not confirm a seat until you receive the approval email from Luma.
If your plans change after approval, please cancel promptly so that the seat can be offered to someone on the waitlist.
Venue and travel
The event will be held at TinkerSpace in Kalamassery.
On-site parking is extremely limited. Participants are encouraged to use public transport, ride-sharing or carpooling.
Please arrive by 3:30 PM. Participants arriving substantially after the workshop has started may find it difficult to catch up.
