About Event

🚨 Feeling stuck at work in situations that nobody quite teaches you how to handle?

Maybe you’re leading a team for the first time.

Maybe you’re not the manager, but their decisions are making your work harder.

Maybe you’ve become the person everyone looks to, without anyone explaining what authority you actually have.

Or maybe you’re trying to understand the unwritten rules of a team you’ve just joined.

Work gets messy in ways the handbook rarely prepares you for.

The Hot Seat is a place to bring the real thing that’s happening and work through it with other humans.

🌿 What this is...

This is the Hot Seat, a place where you can take the time to experience and dissect real leadership moments. We slow it down, look at what might actually be going on, and work out what you could try.

No slides. No frameworks. Just real humans working through real leadership moments.

⚡ What to expect?

We start by arriving, then everyone names in one line what they're carrying. Bring a real, current situation, not a hypothetical.

The group chooses one or two situations to explore more deeply.

Some people step into the Hot Seat. Others listen, notice patterns and contribute. You don't have to be in the Hot Seat to get something from the room!

We work with the situation as it really is, including the awkward bits. Stay for the full 60 minutes and fill in a short feedback form afterwards.

This isn't a webinar or networking event. It's a small working room. It's also not therapy.

📓 Who is this for?

You might be:

  • an IC trying to navigate decisions, expectations or dynamics around you

  • becoming a team lead or manager and discovering that the job comes with a lot of unwritten rules

  • a project lead or informal leader expected to influence people you don't manage

  • a manager or founder carrying a situation you haven't quite figured out yet

You don't need a leadership title.

If you're involved in the situation, you can bring it.

🪶 Why this works

Leadership isn’t learned in your head. It shows up in moments like:

  • the breath that tightens before conflict

  • the “yes” you say when you mean “no”

  • the silence when you actually need to speak

When you can notice those moments, you can change them.

❤️ What participants say

“Hearing myself say out loud what was stuck in my system and having it reflected back - it grounded me immediately. I left knowing exactly what my next step is.”

✨ Come curious. Leave with a clearer sense of what’s next.

Limited spots. We review applications and confirm within 48 hours.
