How to Not Know: A Conversation with Simone Stolzoff
How to Not Know: A Conversation with Simone Stolzoff
Join us for an evening conversation with Simone Stolzoff—former IDEO designer, author of The Good Enough Job, and now How to Not Know: The Value of Uncertainty in a World that Demands Answers.
In a moment where everything feels a bit in flux—work, technology, even how we think about our careers—this conversation explores a provocative idea: what if uncertainty isn’t something to eliminate, but something we can learn to navigate and even value?
Simone will be joined in conversation by Rachel Young, Partner at IDEO, to unpack how “not knowing” shows up in our lives and work—from big decisions and career paths to leadership, creativity, and the pressure to have answers. Together, they’ll explore the tension between exploration and commitment, confidence and humility, and what it means to move forward when clarity isn’t guaranteed.
Expect a candid, thoughtful discussion grounded in real experience—with space for reflection, connection, and conversation. You’ll also have the chance to connect with a community of creative professionals from across the Bay Area in the IDEO San Francisco studio.
The first 50 attendees will receive a complimentary copy of How to Not Know, courtesy of Bloomberg Beta. Following the discussion, Simone will be available to sign books and connect.
We’d love to see you there.
