Node Caucus
Node Caucus is a working forum for elected officials, policy makers, and business leaders who are shaping the future of bitcoin in Tennessee.
Held twice a year, each Caucus is an invitation-only event for active participation, alignment, and decisionmaking around the technical, legal, and policy scaffolding that is championed by Tennessee Bitcoin Alliance.
If you're serious about influencing state-level bitcoin policy, Node Caucus is where you get a seat at the table.
Topics covered may include:
• How bitcoin policy influences the state's economic growth
• Financial regulation and its effect on bitcoin ecosystem
• Energy resources and how bitcoin mining can grow the grid
• Data center build-outs for AI and bitcoin infrastructure
• Tax treatment of bitcoin-based commercial activity
• Financial privacy and constitutional constraints
We wrap each Caucus with a roadmap review and publication of findings, laying the groundwork for what Tennessee can do next to lead the nation in bitcoin adoption.
Who It’s For
Node Caucus is invitation-based but open to applicants with relevant expertise. We seek participants who are already engaged in:
• Law and policy related to finance, privacy, and digital assets
• Energy systems, grid innovation, and data centers
• Bitcoin or Lightning protocol development
• Mining, node operation, or wallet infrastructure
• Academic research touching cryptography and economics
