Meet key players. Gain insights. Build meaningful connections.

Join us in Lisbon during Web Summit week for Portugal Unlocked — a curated ecosystem experience connecting German startups with the people shaping Portugal’s startup and innovation landscape.

📅 Date: 9 November 2026
🕑 Portugal Unlocked - Meet the Ecosystem: 2:00–3:30 PM
🤝 Community Networking: 3:30–6:00 PM
📍 Location: Casa do Capitão, Lisbon

1. Meet the Ecosystem – Table Captain Format

Expect focused, small-group conversations with ecosystem leaders around funding and scaling, corporate partnerships, market entry, talent and innovation. Among the invited guests are Hugo Augusto (Semapa Next), Sebastian Borek (HTGF), Simon Schäfer (EU-INC, Startup for Europe), Ricardo Marvão (Beta-i), Tímea Szabados (MicroHarvest), Ines Pinho (Unicorn Factory) and Sara Diniz (Startup Portugal).

Choose the topics you want to explore and join a table hosted by a selected ecosystem expert. Across three rounds, you can switch tables to meet different experts, exchange ideas and broaden your knowledge of the Portuguese startup ecosystem.

2. Community Networking

During the open networking session, connect with invited experts, startups, incubators and other key players from the Portuguese ecosystem.

Come curious, bring your questions, and leave with new perspectives and meaningful connections.

In collaboration with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Startup Germany, Germany Trade & Invest, Bits & Pretzels Communities and local ecosystem partners.
