She Writes Press! Women's Voices
Back in July, I told you about a new project I launched at Wham! Bam! Thank You! Slam! called Wham! Bam! BOOK! Slam!
On October 3, 2026 at 5pm ET, we’re bringing you a most unique event, a reimagining of a more commonplace book launch.
The authors of She Writes Press will be gracing our virtual stage with true stories taken from their brand new memoirs. Each author is on the threshold of launching their book. For some, it’s their first book. In keeping with the format of Wham! Bam! Thank! You! Slam!, we won’t be doing a traditional reading.
Instead, each writer will tell a story that’s based on an excerpt from their book.
They’ll tempt you with a story so engaging it leaves you wanting more. And, guess what? You’ll be able to get more, because their books will be available to purchase from our dedicated Bookshop & Amazon storefronts. The authors will sell books, and WBTYS will benefit, too. We make a small commission if you purchase through the links we provide. That helps fund the work we do here.
So, we’re throwing a book launch party with a twist!
