American Mahjongg — Open Play & Free Lessons
A drop-in game every Tuesday at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Central Library, located at the corner of 9th and G Streets NW.
We play in the Great Hall. If you do not find us, ask the front desk if we have been moved elsewhere in the building.
Games begin at 6:00 and wrap up at 8:00.
Free Lessons are available for new players. Registration is required and space is limited. Lesson begins promptly at 6:00; latecomers may not be seated if the table is full.
A Support Table is available for players who have taken a lesson and would like to play with an instructor's oversight. Registration is required and space is very limited.
For general Open Play — all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
If you own a mahjongg set, we encourage you to bring.
The Gallery Place Metro station (9th Street entrance) is located across the street. Street parking is available
